  i work with a guy who sleep with a lot of different woman, and when i say a lot, i mean a lot!

  i know what some are thinking, "oh he probably sleeps with a few and makes it sound like more.

  " well i would think that too, if i did not actually meet a lot of these woman and work with some of them and they admit to sleeping with him on a regular basis.

  Yes, my dad was in the military while going to meetings. My mom is baptized, my dad is not. I think he was only going to keep peace with my mom. (Maybe to ensure he would keep "getting some" wink, wink) Anyway, my dad is an extremely intimidating man to face down, 6'4", 310 lbs. Wasn't very zealous, didn't go out in service and made it clear he was not quitting the job that allowed him to provide for his family so he could take a job washing windows. Nobody bothered him, the elders steered clear. He's my ultimate hero.

  Use of the word jah?

  i have noticed on ex sites the use of the word jah in reference to jehovah.

  is this just a slang used by ex's or do active also use it?

  if active members use it, doesn't it seem a bit disrespectful then?

  Hey, I've been checking this site out for a few months and thought I'd start posting. So here I am. My name is Justin. I live in Calgary, Canada, just left the borg, as you guys call it, about 6 months ago. I've been to lots of congregations as my dad was in the army until about a year ago. I've also lived in Ottawa and North Bay in Ontario and spent a few years in Kamloops, BC.

  I grew up as a witness but when my family moved to Calgary my dad stopped attending meetings so I saw it as a way out. My mom still goes and it's been rough on my parents marriage, they fight about it all the time. So I stay stuck in the middle, for now.
